why did i not go by my instincs

hazels brake lights had stopped working ,got them working after tightning the connectors ,tryed replacing the switch but could not get it to budge so did not tempt fate . replaced the half shaft gasket ,the rear brake shoes .then greased it up oil change ,spark plugs set the tapetts changed the oil air filter ,topped up the diff ,tightened up the brakes .then cheaked the brake lights again still working .went for a drive and it drove nicley cheaked the brake lights again and they packed up .the spade connectors are tight but they look a bit corroded so i will get some new ones and try again tomorrow .i was going to get some new ones on the way to hazels never mind you live and learn .
