Hi everyone,
I'm working on my 1954 Series 2 and it needs a couple of new wings due to previous bodywork abuses. Purely for financial reasons, the bull motif fibreglass ones seem to be the best buy, but I'd like to solicit opinions on where the bests ones are available, and is there any change in the wing design between late series 2 and the minor 1000s of later years as the parts seem a little generic.
Thanks,
paddy

Re: Fibreglass Wings for a Series 2
you dont say if its the front or rear wings!anyway the rear wings on series 2 are cut higher up, eg over the top of the wheel you can see more inner wing and may be the holes for the lights are different, series 2 has smaller lights.Front wings i think are the same apart from the hole for the side lights. Having said all that you do see a lot of series 2 cars with morris 1000 wings fitted!hope this helps ,graham

You're quite right! It was front wings, and thanks for the information. I had noticed the side lights, but I think there's not that much difference between them, in terms of size anyway (and I'm sure something suitable can be fashioned!)
The rears, thankfully, are solid.
Cheers!
