HT leads

i want to make up a set of leads...
what size core wire is best ? ( ie 7 strand)
also which plug caps would you use....
straight or angled???

Heavier the better - and angled - and NOT resistive caps........

A bit late on this, but I just got a set of HT leads from A series spares, they made up a custom length set for me, worked out cheap too!

I used NGK LZFH non resistive screw on caps. Nice tight fit with the rubber seals on 7mm cable. Also used a screw in lead dist. cap. Careful with the securing screws as they will start to push through the top of the cap if done up too much.

made my leads up with the old brass type plug connections
took the dizzy cap ends off some old leads....
total price for a full set off leads,,,,,,,
£3.75
and they look and work great
