Stewart and Arden badge...

I found this item in amongst some other bits and pieces in a scrapyard inside a tin about 8 or 9 years ago and its sat largely ignored on the shelf ever since until I disturbed it today, forgotten I had it.

Can anyone shed any light on it?

Wow! That is quite some find. I believe they were a big Morris Dealer in the London area - this badge would most likely have been attached to the dashboard. This was the rear-window dealer sticker of its day.

Yes morris dealers
The company ceased trading around 1991
They were the sole agency for Morris cars in london rather a large outfit I was told by my uncle

3 of my cars came from varous Stewart & Ardern London dealerships. 1 definitely from S & A in Acton.

Those were the days when the part you wanted was never in stock and if you ordered it then it would take three weeks to arrive

My Dad bought a Wolseley 6/110 Mk 2 O/D (VME777G) from Stewart and Ardern when the were on Castlenau, Barnes, West London. It was reg on Aug 1st 1968 (Trafalgar Blue with light blue leather)
