Already exists. Roses Run.
Also LeJog but this is much more expensive and gruelling.
That is an idea, orb - another endurance rally always appeals to me.

Chris, The Roses Run website has been updated, it includes your entry form for this years run which is on Sunday 21st September 2014, this year it starts in Scarborough and the finish is in Morecambe, The route is mostly over quiet back roads ideally suited to classic motoring !! Photos of the 2013 run have been add to the website, the link to the site is http://roses-run.tripod.com/
