Bit late, but Erddig Hall 20/10

Post by C.J. »

Due to some crazy admin errors apparently, this show hasn't been advertised.

Only finally got confirmation that it's happening a couple of days ago.

Anyone else, for probably the last outdoor show of the year?

Free entry into the N.T. Hall for when the rain turns up too! 8)

Like Paul, BruceK and I will be at the open day. It's not quite the last outing though, there's the FJ open day in a couple of weeks (although that's a Tuesday for some obscure reason).

Wuss.

Erdigg was quiet in terms of attendees, but was pleasant all the same.

I was parked next to an absolutely stunning white Traveller that the owner (from Warrington) had bought just 5 months ago, totally refurbished by Morris Minor Millenium in Manchester. Beautiful.
Member of the MMOC, but not the forum sadly. Nice bloke to talk to.

Meanwhile I was bouncing at the stupidity of the half baked fossil of an owner of a Jag XJ6, who reversed it straight into the front of an old 1930's Austin something.
Despite everyone yelling at him to stop, he didn't until he hit it, then rammed it back into drive and floored it, splattering the same car and everyone around it in mud.
Reversed back and just sat there with a fat cigar sticking out of his fat mouth.
No one seemed particularly bothered except me. Staggering. :o
Minimal damage granted, luckily.

I shook my head in disbelief and let them all get on with it.
