ANOTHER body number request

Post by POMMReg »

Some debate over the introduction of the central speedo on the Series 2's.

Does anyone have a contempory parts list which also quotes (B) numbers?

This is a MAMMOTH task as it's only me researching this particular area, so
ANY assistance greatly appreciated!

As always, chassis, body & engine numbers combinations welcome - especially
all information quoted on Heritage Certificates.

Thanks

Chris

I have a query....

Do Heritage Certificates show more than what you are able to look at in the big book at Gaydon?

As you know, if you look through Ray's excellent Original MM book, change points are quoted
by chassis number, this is deceptive as some changes are listed by (Cowley) body number in
Service Parts Lists.

Will have to have ALL body nos quoted in Parts Books to enable me to convert them into their
respective chassis numbers. So I can quote Cowley change points alongside CKD production.
Aquire this info from Gaydon

Sounds very confusing, don't think even I understand it....
