7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

3 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

And 1 to tell you how he used to change a lightbulb in 2.6 seconds at the side of the road. But how it's 'never' the lightbulb anyway.

1 to ask "what do you need a new light bulb for anyway? My moggy doesn't need one"

4 to ask if the replacement bulb is original or new

3 of them to leave the room in a huff when they find out it IS a new bulb

the one that's left to say, 'leave the bulb in, working or not...cos its original'

1 to come back after a two week holiday and explain how amazed they are at how huge the light bulb changing thread has got

1 to post nothing but a smiley/laughing face

54 to say they're having trouble posting photos of their light bulbs

3 to post a thread showing the cheapest light bulb they have found on e-bay

1 to introduce himself/herself as a new member and wonder what the hell they've got there self into

Add a debate about compact fluorescent bulbs LEDs , energy saving and Europe too!

Depends on the year and there are some crossover bulbs with fine thread in a coarse fitting
