I would like to know members opinions on where they think next years national mmoc rally should be held in my opinion its your club so where do you think it should be.
2006 Normanby hall, Scunthorpe.
2007 Kelmarsh hall, Northamptonshire.
2008 Stamford hall, Leicestershire.
2009 Haynes motor museum, Somerset.
2010 Harewood house, Yorkshire.
2011 Knebworth house, Hertfordshire.
2012 Kelmarsh hall, Northamptonshire.
2013 Cornberry park, Oxfordshire.
2014 Possibly Kelmarsh AGAIN.

These locations would be for the ENGLISH National Rally then??

It shouldn't matter the mmoc is in the UK so it can be held anywhere Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, leeds ANYWHERE that's the question

North west of England Cheshire who want to go to Kelmarsh

Ok 1. Kelmarsh may not be everybody's first choice, BUT it is near motorway links, not too far from the MMOC office (Club Merchandise has to be packed and a van hired to transport it and all the P/A system etc) so it can get expensive if the rally site is too far away.

2. We need 80/100 acres to hold our rally - room for arena/large marquee, parking for 2,000+ cars and the campsite. There are not many sites that can offer this, that are within the MMOC budget's reach. Places like Longleat have been researched before but proved too costly.

Kelmarsh sounds good to me. Getting to it is good,I guess it's pretty central. If I remember the Naesby battle site is about 30 minutes away ? More than worth a visit. Well,it gets my vote.

No announcement has been made yet on where exactly the 2014 National Rally will be held.

Why can't the stuff go in a Minor van, I know there must be someone with one who can help.

We will respect the mods
I get the feeling that it has 90% been decided
Poor old MMOC people having to pack and drive a van
Better to have 2000 cars drive a distance and it wont cost the office as much petrol

Agreed,Tatton Park.Cheshire, good location 5 mins off M6 and holds at least three large classic car shows with camping each summer.

As far North as possible - for a change. Scotland would be nice.

Harewood House was nice, I was there a long time ago and it was packed, I think there was about 800 cars there.

Seems that the question gets asked each year. Hopefully will be further north.
Leeds would be better

I heard it is in Kelmarsh in 2014.
