Switch wiring
The wiring diagram at the top of this section is excellent but unfortunately I need help to connect the right wires to the right connectors on the back of the lighting and wiper switches. I've tried randomly without success.
Please could someone confirm which wire to which connector on both switches?
On the lighting switch there are 3 connectors, on the wiper switch there are four
Thanks

Re: Switch wiring
I'm surprised there 4 on the wiper switch - and only 3 on the lights??? Are these PULL switches - or FLICK switches..?

Re: Switch wiring
The light switch is wired
Brown/blue control box to term 4
Red or red/green term 1 to side lights or inline fuse.
Blue term 8 to dip switch
The wiper switch is wired black/green wiper motor to switch
Black switch to earth

Re: Switch wiring
Thanks guys, progress update
The lighting switch now appears to be giving me sidelights and headlamps.
No indicators working yet but I also have an extra red wire coming from the loom at the same point as the lighting wires but what should that connect to?
The wiper motor not working yet. I have black wire to bottom, Black/green wire to middle but then there is also a green/yellow wire which seems to come from the heater as David suggests. Should this fit to the wiper switch too or maybe the voltage stabiliser?
(I already have a green/yellow wire for oil warning)
?

Re: Switch wiring
Hi, i had same wires to my wiper switch. My switch also had 4 terminals and these are numbered 1, 6, 7 & 8
My switch had 1, 7, 8 connected when off and 1, 6, & 7 connected when on
The Black wire was on 1 and provides earth
The Black/Green was on 6 and goes to wiper motor terminal 1
The Green/Yellow was on 7 and provided earth to the heater motor
I changed my switch with ON/OFF/flick ON switch for feed to electric washers. I also moved to the Green/Yellow to perminant earth for heater.

Re: Switch wiring
Red wires should all be side / tail lights.
You should have a live feed from the ignition circuit to the wiper motor, a brown/green from the wiper motor to the switch and an earth wire from the switch to earth. There is nothing to do with the voltage stabiliser.
Andy, your wires were wired through a light switch which you could use for electric washers

Re: Switch wiring
Have you got a red wire running to the switch under the dash edge that turns off the lights on the speedo?
