Really enjoyed the video! These lads have worked darn hard on these videos. I can't wait to the minor documentary! I would'nt say its advertising.. who owns a morris minor and has never heard of charles ware morris minors

Be fair, of course it's an advert, but it also touches on themes such as history, upgrades, durable ownership, modern requirements, and long-term family ownership. Plenty of cars to look at, and it might inspire potential new owners to take the plunge. If it's made for CW, then you wouldn't expect them to list all the other dealers; but potential owners will soon track down alternatives if they want to. My only criticism is that it ignores the MMOC.

Just spotted (a few minutes) into the video Dale Brignall' s car UDD 864 - in for a service?

As this film was not posted by Charles Ware I personally don't consider it an advert for his business. A lot of new member's may find it informative.

Whatever thoughts people may have without this man's single minded determination to get parts re-commissioned, resourcing new manufacturers, I doubt the Minor would have the secure future it has today. Many classic owners these days cannot simply ring up and order a wing etc.

Indeed, parts can be a nightmare for other old cars.

They still are Josh most panels don't fit and parts wear out in a matter of weeks

cynical lot you are. Really nice little film, promotion or not. Not enough high quality films about Moggies around. The style of the film reminds me of the videos on youtube of various vehicle factories. Strangely relaxing watching Unimogs being made!

Great little film, I really enjoyed that! I liked the bit about treating the cars like people not objects! Well done it was really well put together

It was interesting that they was talking about the quality of modern parts, are the spares they supply any better than the rest?
Although Sri Lanka exports rubber, they import tyres.

I'm aware of that.

Hoses and cast rubber items are much simpler to produce, not sure if they do in Sri Lanka though.
Has anyone bought hoses from Mr Ware and have any comments about their longevity?

They import tyres as the expertise from natural rubber to a tyre isn't there but I am sure it will be in the near future

Because it's true.
As I suggested in my last message there is a spectrum of rubber technology but I don't know what is being done in Sri Lanka, I do know what isn't being done, making tyres!
