Some interesting under bonnet mods as seen on a recent Ebay ad.

How many can you spot?

I have no idea what the funnel is for, that twin engine steady bar is a novel idea, the wynns sticker on the engine rather tacky, and that bungee rope thing holding the battery is not going to hold it very well in a crash. Thats all I could spot, but I would secure that washer bottle!

Is the funnel connected to the rad overflow perhaps?
The bungee battery retainer is a terrible lash up

There are two feeds into the float chamber, looking at the gauge of pipe coming off of the funnel it looks scarily like it feeds into the float chamber and to the carb!

The picture is called "Morris fuel feed.JPG" so I think you are right.

Then there is the coil, not to mention several bits of extra red wire, and where is that heater pipe going?

With the potential loose fuel under the bonnet that red wire beside the heater hose looks like a problem waiting to happen. Also, how long will that copper fuel pipe last with the bungy cord attached to it?

Nowt wrong with the coil position. That's normal for such an early car.
