I have brought a king pin to replace the one on my Morris Minor 1000 but now that I have come to fit it the hole for the steering arm is too big. Is there a reason for this? And what can I do to resolve this problem?

Well - if in decent condition. the late van swivel pins are worth money.....market it (them?) carefully. Of course - if the swivel threads are knackered, it's scrap metal......

Well there are two good second hand ones with top and bottom trunnions aswell as one that is new and has never been used. If anyone wants these I am prepared to swap them for the saloon car equivelent or sell them.

Or contact a minor supplier and see if they will swap them for a pair of new car ones?
