Cornbury Rally - Help for Heroes Cake Auction

Post by simmitc »

Hi Folks, does anyone who was at the party on the Saturday evening at Cornbury know anything about the cake that was auctioned for Help for Heroes? We'd love a photo of the cake. We know that it was won by a table bid close to the band, but who were they? What sort of cake was it? Who made it? Any information gratefully received, feel free to PM if you want to remain anonymous. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was on that table, with my brother-in-law, but do not have any photos, The cake was a sponge with models of three service men made from icing.

There were 10 people on the table and we split the winning bid
