Sidevalve head casting numbers

After working on my '52 sidevalve at the weekend I noticed a few numbers on the head and I wondered what they referred to.
The first number is below number 1 spark plug and is: 81693
The second number is below number 2 spark plug and is: 15 10 52
Now as my car is a 1952 car I presumed that the 2nd number might have been a production date for the engine (even though it's a replacement gold-seal engine).
Any ideas folks??

On my '52 Sidevalve
The first number below number 1 spark plug and is: 31693
The second number below number 2 spark plug and is: 15 9 52
Nearby there is a Qualcast badge with number 2 beside it.
Looking at all of the original paperwork I see it is noted as Morris Minor Saloon 894-918cc
1st registered 31.10.1952
Wondering if this is the original engine.
We're looking at you Bill

Chrissie, have a look under the dynamo at the side of the engine and there should be a little plate with the engine number on. If this number matches the lower number on your vehicle ID plate (on the top left of the bulkhead) then it's the original engine!

And you can wire up an antitheft device on my car anytime but I'd have to be able to remember it
