Speedometer

I have found a smiths speedometer in my Garage and i can`t find which Morris car it belongs to , could anybody help me please ??

It has a white face and goes up to 60 mph , the serial number is 3320/04[frame]Image[/frame]

Not a Morris Minor, Serials are 44xx/ and speed = 80 or 90 mph. Try Series 8 or E. What is the 4 fig TPM after the serial no?

Complete guess - but maybe its from a Ford Pop?

matt you will be getting a letter from my solicitor in a few days..

I did a google search on images for "ford popular speedo" and up came Harrison Ford in Speedos I will need lots of therapy!!!

It looks like a coach or commercial speedo to me as practically all private car speedometers read up to 70 or 80, even before the war.

I'm surprised that 30 mph isn't highlighted, a lot of early speedos had a red line there.
