I thought the rubber wings were only used on early GPO series 2 vans up to Feb '55?

Think they got something Right as well, here's me working my socks off for a two week break abroad, while one of them is on his third holiday. First Magaluf, then a week in New York, now a fortnight in Turkey...what am I doing wrong !
Back to the topic..Andy Greening's GPO Decals are very good, Cheap and easy to fit.

Thanks 1098 apologies for not replying earlier, the van I was after the deal unfortunately fell through due to a difference in valuation, I have been on the look out for another mail or GPO van but nothing has emerged but a genuine thank you for your assistance. Regards Stephen.

Hi all I can remember is it was advertised on either Classic Cars for sale or Car & Classic websites, it was being sold by the son of the chap who had spent some years to restore and he had it finished off by his friends, hope this helps. Regards Stephen.

Sounds like one, that was, or is, for sale in Lancashire. I did tell the owners that you rarely pull back what you spend on a restoration. Ex Telephones,in yellow. If it's the same van ? they were asking 9-10 grand. They asked me to have a look, which I did. Nice van,I saw it at the beginning of the restoration,it was quite bad.
Ed.
