Is this that when the woodwork was replaced, prior to our ownership, the lower rail was positioned to high and the metal support is therefore higher not allowing adequate clearance for the latches to move upwards?
The felt channels are clean and the drainage holes clear so I intend to retain the these channels, but anticipating that the windows have not been slid along them is their a substance I could put in them to aid movement. i though about swarfega as it is relatively harmless and after use would wash away.
Or should I just replace the channels.
Any ideas appreciated.
