Car stereo/ cd multichanger

I have acquired a goodman 6 cd multichanger and would like to link it to a modern pioneer stereo head unit. My electrics knowledge is extremely basic... but, the multichanger has a lead with a round 8 pin head. The pioneer head unit has the usual loom, but no place at all to connect the lead from the multichanger. I have attached a pic of the 8 pin head. Would be very grateful if someone could give me some advice!
Thanks, Chris

Roy you may be pulling my leg but ................
the cd changer changes from 1 cd to another in the holding cassette which in this case it holds six separate individual cd's,storing about 80 tracks (more if it is also an mp3 player head unit )

----and it needs changing so you don't get fed up with the same tracks. Tracks ==separate areas of the cd that holds the music or/and song.

And and -you can actually hear this while the engine is running?? Surely easier to use a memory card with 100s of tunes stored away....

Personally -when I'm driving along I'm listening for the first sounds of the next mechanical disaster that's about to strike......

Easily, even better following the addition of sound deadener in certain areas.
Went to Maplins and they said I'd probably have to find out what each pin does to find a suitable adaptor. I think it may be more hassle than its worth!

best get a head with aux input and play your iPod etc thru it,I picked one up at an auto jumble for three quid, and you see working ones for around 10 -15 pounds, well worth it,good luck
