CARB FLOAT CHAMBER

Post by des1957 »

can anybody please give me some advice. i will be really greatful.
my su fuel pump suddenly started to tick really fast, pumping a lot of fuel to the float chamber.
which makes fuel spurt out from either side of the float chamber, which also floods the carb.
is it the fuel pump thats faulty, or do i need to replace the float chamber?
thanks Des

Why is this in 'electrical' section??? And yes - as above - it's the float valve that has worn out - or perhaps has a bit of grit jammed in it........
