went out today and fired up borris to find non working headlights after checking the earth fuses and renewing the connections I still have nothing
but I have side lights and they work every time

I guess you have no dipped or main beam. Fault has to be light switch or dip switch or the blue wire between the two.

Join the wires off the switch - and see if the lights come on..... Are both the main and dip beams failed - on both headlights? If so - then most likely is the BLUE wire pulled off either at switch - or at dipswitch. Don't waste time looking at fuses - the headlights are not fused......
