cheap good quality carpet sets your thoughts
was thinking about making a few sets of carpets for morris as im a carpet fitter to trade and not bad with sewing machine. as was looking at the price of sets on ebay. which are pretty expensive at just over 100 pound per set also thought fellow morris . members on here who would like to save a few pennys . to spend on other items needed on there cars as like myself everypenny counts. I could even manage to buy the morris rubber heel mat for drivers side and sew it in . bearing in mind there like 10 each to buy from ebay the plane rubber heal matts are lot cheaper these carpet sets would include . new underlay cut to shape ready to fit and could .possibly be made in any colour one wanted so to sum it up would anyone be interested in a set of these full carpet fitting sets for there car . not to sure on the price as of yet . due to I have to price up the materials yet but shurely I could make these and save club members out there some money . thanks Charles

Re: cheap good quality carpet sets your thoughts
yes postage would have to be considered but 20 mm carpet realy thick supplied with morris logo heal matt and underlay would still save some thing and could be cheaper by not adding morris logo just plain one in drivers matt. basically down to ones self whether he wanted cheaper or dearer but good quality
oh and forgot to say postage might be cheaper for me to send than buying and being sent to where I am is ridiculous .

Re: cheap good quality carpet sets your thoughts
I shopped about alot for my carpet set, ended up getting my full carpet set from Bull Motif, £64. Maybe not the best quality carpet but it does the trick, got the underlay (new cut offs) out of a skip, cost nothing. Any order over £60 from Bull Motif is free postage. Just thought I'd let you know. Having an M emblem incorporated in some way would be great!

Re: cheap good quality carpet sets your thoughts
It'd be nice if someone offered carpet sets as original for those wanting an authentic look. ie: unbound and with a separate 4" wide strip to bolt the seats through so both front and rear mats can be removed for cleaning.
Also the later ones with full width front and rear pieces as picture of a set from a 71 saloon:[frame]

Don't value your time or materials at nothing, putting a finish on the edges is going to use both, giving them away isn't a good idea.the edges would be made to what you'd prefer no problem
