Hi there,

my 17 year old daughter wants to stay in UK for 1/2 or 1 year.
She has the graduation from high school and her English is good.

Does anybody know a place to work and live?
(Kindergarden, work and travel, au pair....)

I´m a member of the German MM Club and have 2 Minors.
(Convertible and Traveller)

Au pair work might be ideal as accommodation is often included.

Apart from that work is quite hard to find at the moment, translation might be a good option for her.

She gets 17 in September.

Domestic UK is the most likely place though there was only one Au pair job when I looked today.
LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER/AUPAIR London NW8 for two lively boys, aged 9 and 12. An experienced, responsible and athletic carer with superb English. Excellent cook and cleaner.

Translation work can be quite good, and they even sometimes have company houses for workers from overseas. From experience I can say Bet 365 is good at looking after it's translators and they will provide accommodation if required.

It may be for an adult - but this request is for the daughter of a member who is only 16! Along the lines of school exchange students I think (without the exchange).
