Hi,
I have an original Ford connector for the reversing light switch on the side of the gearbox, this pushes, as you will know, onto the switch and is probably supposed to stay in place once pushed on...................
Guess what...........
Mine doesn't!
After a while it will work its way loose and I will have no reversing light until the next time I check and push it back on.
Does anyone else have experience of this and how have you solved it??
There doesn't seem to be an easy way to strap it in place......
Many thanks,
Mike.

On mine it's a terminal a bit like a male bullet on the switch and a female bullet on the end of the wire. Try squeezing the female bit with pliers to make it a bit tighter. Failing that, a cable tie tightly on the wire to give a grip, and then another hooked round the first and up to the body to take the weight off the wire and stop it pulling away. You may need to crimp on a new connector.
