Info on original specifications?

Hi everyone, I'm kind of new to all this moggy business but bought me a runner not so long back with a short MOT and now I'm hooked 
I am planning on completely restoring my 1969 2 door 1098cc (Doris) and after doing a couple of old Mini Minors in the past I'd like to get Doris up to if not close to original showroom condition. Just one problem! I haven't a clue where to get original spec info from! Any help would be much appreciated.
