:o Sorry but which bit is Morris Minor. From the back it looks like a Land Rover and from the front it just looks like a slightly modified one.

I must confess, I did buy the Land Rover mag the other month that featured it on the front cover, just out of curiosity really. At first, I thought thats horrible, but I can appreciate the engineering and the skill involved. The marriage of the top of a Minor dashboard and the lower part of a Defender dash is particularly clever. Overall appearance with that size and styling it could almost be 1950s American, and after reading the article I think I like it, and it would be almost justifyable for a Morris Minor specialist to have as a working vehicle. Lines would probably look better with a LR high capacity rear body as it'd be more the same width as the cab. More useful too and slightly less obviously Land Rover from the rear.
Why the owner now wants to pass it on after putting all that time and effort into creating a one off vehicle is a mystery - maybe funds and space for the next mad project!
Think maybe I'll keep my Land rover, Land Rover shaped and the Minors, Minor shaped for now though....

I like it too except the front, more rounded top corners would look better IMHO.

I like it too , very 50's yank front but I would modify the bed to round off the squareness and change the rear wheel arches.

I miss my old green 2 door moggie V8 4 X 4 on mk 1 Landrover chassis :P
.

Yes, this type of rear body may look better, albeit without the flared wheelarches. Wide enough to match the cab, curved corners and readily available, though I assume the builder just used what he had ie a standard 110 Land Rover and a Morris Minor... I still like it though and if I hadn't bought the one in the pic below I'd probably be interested.
