'Fed up with "rat" politicians a group of friends in the Mexican city of Xalapa have put forward their ideal candidate for mayor: a cat (MORRIS) . Xalapa resident Sergio Chamorro said the plan began as a joke borne out of their frustration with the Veracruz state government over freedom of speech. The candidate poster reads: "Fed up voting for rats? Vote for a cat" '.
