I have never seen this sticker on any other minor apart from on my late Grandfathers car, which had the sticker in place from new. As both cars are/where from around 1957 although this one English reg'd and my Grandfather's Belfast Reg'd. I just wandered would it have been up to the dealer to fit or was it done at Cowley. If anyone know's I am just interested.[frame]

Rear Screen Sticker
Whilst at Cornbury Park I noticed an early 1000 which had a 'Morris Minor 1000 makes Most Of Your Petrol' sticker on the rear screen. [frame]

Re: Rear Screen Sticker
What a lovely photo! When was it taken? Mid 60s by the look of it! Interesting sticker, would be nice to find out more, I would imagine a rare survivor.
My 1956 Series 11 Traveller! Bought when I was 17 (1985)....sold 6 years (1991) later......bought back 9 years after that! (2000) With 6 different owners in the middle, what a lucky boy I am!

Re: Rear Screen Sticker
Thanks for that Louise. Phil the photo was taken approx 1968, WZ 2044 was 1957, my grandfather purchased it in 1965 with 2000 miles on the clock. It was driven everyday / holidays for a hard 17 years and sold it in 1982 in pretty poor condition ( with an aluminium based floor pop riveted on top of the original floor
) it then went to the grave / for spares by a local mmoc member.

Great to see it, must be quite a rarity now.
1954 Series 2: 4 door: "Sally" -- Back on the ground with (slave) wheels, now being sprayed by me, slowly......
1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......
