New owner of 'Hugo'

Post by margriff »

Hi...bought our first Moggy a month ago ('63, 4 dr saloon, 1098, Traf' Blue, Blue/Grey duotone interior - DMM 860A) and am working hard to 'do him up'. Already got good advice on the forums (immobiliser, brake servo, alternator kind of stuff). 'Hugo' OR ('Reginald Hugo von Bartlesby' (named by the kids) long story) is running well but needs all the usual...door bottoms, panels re sprayed, new interior panels and carpet ETC, ETC, ETC. Lets just say Charles Wares will be having an extra weeks holiday this year with all the orders we're banging into him. First time I drove him up to 55mph I laughed my head off with absolute joy
Why hasn't everybody got one...Loooking forward to Moggy events and being a dedicated owner :P

Does anyone recognise him...DMM 860A.???

I bought him in Darlington. I think he was from the Newcastle area.

I doubt you were advised to get a servo.......... That's WAY down the list - so far down it's off the bottom.... There are other suppliers of parts besides CW - and they may have better prices... Wise to compare before buying. Some do free post if you order enough parts.
