Anyone near me with a traveller?? BS37 Yate,C/Sodbury

Post by Pilkie »

Hi all.

I am just about to start the resto of a 1964 traveller,See restoration projects!!
Would there be any members close to me with a traveller, who would be willing to pop round in it??
So I can re-aquaint myself with how a good one should look!
Also any words of wisdom, experience from you gratefully accepted.
Kettles always on,and I am about most of the time!
I am in the North Bristol BS37 area, thats Yate and Chipping Sodbury!
I did spot a nice looking blue traveller on Westerleigh rd on the weekend!!
I was either in my white Rover P6V8 or damson triumph TR6,we did wave!
Was that you??
Looking forward to meeting you.

Cheers Dave
ps
I have just finished a year long total stripdown restoration of this.

Might be worth contacting the MMOC Avon branch as there's a few traveller owners there: http://www.avonbranchmmoc.co.uk/
