Speaking personally, but I think that many others will feel the same, I can't help but feel a certain amount of irritation re. the the current Home Page which is now nothing ( or at least, little else) but the site plane for Cornbury Park! Fascinating. What a lovely colour diagram. Seems to be the same each time I look at it!!!.
I feel sure that most other members, like myself, keep up to date with new topics and postings, photos and items for sale through the notifications of new Messageboard topics and photos that regularly apear and change on the Home Page.
Do we have to look at this site map for ages? When can we get back to normal?
I, fo one, have no idea now what new topics have been initiated!
Definitely a retrograde step in my view!! Not that anyone will probably even notice this moan now!

The Site Map that you refer to has been put on the front page by the Webmaster at the specific request of Andrew Stone (National Rally Organiser) for people to acquaint themselves with the layout of the Rally Field. It will be removed after the Rally in less than 2 weeks.

I don't like it either. I'll change it tonight.
