Jumbo The Traveller On Ebay.!!!!!!

Post by Morris Mike »

Never mind Jumbo....I would like to sqeeeze his trunk. :D

If i read anymore of this description and hear Jumbo any more I will I will put a brick through my screen. OK me might have nick names for our cars but for a grown person who obviously sells many classic cars and is advertising this one,to keep bleating on about Jumbo is a bit twee

Obviously they are trying to pull at our heart strings and want us to stroke and cuddle little Jumbo, fall in love with the little creature (its not a car you know, its a pet) then pay about £9,000 for the car.

But throwing away those rose tinted glasses what do we have.....

A satin black engine bay,not body colour.
Non perfect paintwork.
The colour does not show up the panel fit,an on the ground inspection should be made.

But saying this people are piling in with the bids.

For this sort of money I would want to purchase a car with the correct paint finishes, materials and quality of workmanship.

Oh nearly forgot .....and someone who does not keep refering to their car in the advert as Daffodil.!!!

This guy often has a Traveller for sale and they always look impressive in the photos.
If I recall there was a lot of chat on here about the last one he for sale which was not all it was cracked up to be. Something about the drivers door not fitting correctly because the body was thought to be bent if I remember correctly. I think it was a white Traveller.
I just hope that those who are piling in with the bids on this one have viewed the car and know what they are bidding on. Call me cynical, but it never ceases to amaze me how many "bids" these dealers get on their cars compared to other cars for sale on the same site! Some might wonder if they are fabricating bids to inflate the price and the level of interest.....however I wouldn't dream of saying that!
