Excellent. I'm booked in on Tuesday. Do you still get a certificate as normal?

Apparently part of the reason for changing to plain paper was that a large proportion of certificates were printed out of alignment.
I once sent a detailed suggestion to the guy responsible for the new electronic MOT of how they could change the printout to two Parts of A5 size on A4, where the first bit has the old certificate detail and the second page has room for loads of advisories. The logic being that most cars sold with MOT had the advisories sheet missing.
The scary part is that maybe they listened!

Anyway - congrats on a new MOT. Really glad to see Dotty still providing good service :)

Took our 54 split screen NIA in last week. Both myself and the MoT tester decided to have a laugh and put the young apprentice inside to operate the relevant controls. Explaining to him how to start it had us fits of laughter, by the time we had finished we couldn't see for tears. Have you tried explaining how a points and condenser ignition system works to a 17 year old apprentice. Plug & play in my day was unheard of takes all the fun out in find the faults. It passed with flying colours, the 3 year old Honda Civic before hand didn't fair well. :D
