brake option? what are your thoughts?

I've got a disc brake conversion on my minor which has started to wear. I took it apart the other day because i thought that the bearing were on there way out but it turned out to be the bush at the back for the disc upgrade. Now i'm not sure if its the bush itself that is worn or the hub shaft.
Ive heard that this way of doing the upgrade isn't the best so didn't know whether or not to correct the the problem or change how the upgrade is done. As i would prefer to be able to use the parts that i already have (discs and calipers) is there anything i can do to upgrade or would i have to buy a whole new set?

if you can take the spigot / adaptor off and measure the diameter of your hub shaft you should be in a position to know if you need new uprights.

Depending on what you find you appear to have two options..

ESM now do a new front hub as opposed to offering the hub adaptor which appears to be giving you the problem

If you need new uprights get in touch with JLH as i seem to recall they modify the hub shaft to allow the fitting of an off the shelf set of of bearings.
