Getting Ernie Back On The Road....

O.K.! Hello from across the pond!
I'm back working on my beloved Ernie, a 65 Traveller. He's a restomod, I guess you'd say. New wood from Foresman that I've installed wood panels to replace the aluminum ones. There will be wood slats replacing the cloth headliner. And wood slats in the cargo bay area. I'm sure I'll have questions as I go, and I'll post pics when I can.

Couple of pics of dear ol' Ern...so far. It was a big day today as I finally got it "street legal" as we say over here.
Next on the list..fitting the rear sliding windows.

And if the photos don't upload it will be because they are too big so reduce the size on your PC then try again

Just now I'm putting in the rear sliding windows. Next is the gutter, which kinda scares me a little. Then I'm doing my headlining as wood strips... No rest for the weary!

Well, I bodged the gutter, but it's on..
That allowed me to mount up my restored retro surf racks, and Ernie looks quite nice with the surfboard.
