Both doors on my 1000 seem to be welded on with the lowest screw and despite having bathed it in wd40 and stripped the ten layers of paint off (meh) they will now budge. Any tips for getting these off without having to cut it? Also the bottom of the driver door is a tad rusted is is worth investing in a new on or shall i just repair?

Can you buy a new door ?? Apply HEAT to the screws, and an impact screwdriver......

If I understand correctly, it's "just" a seized bolt that you have? The problem is that it screws into a tapped plate inside either the A-post or the door itself, depending on which side you are trying to undo. You need Plusgas or similar penetrating oil rather than WD40, but really need it on the end of the thread that is in the plate. You may be lucky and find that it will run down from the head, but I doubt it. Anyway, after a good soaking, as Roy says, use heat on the bolt. Once cool, an impact wrench (air or mechanical) might move it.
If neither the A-post nor the hinge need attention, then you can remove the door trim and attack the plate inside the door, leaving the hing attached to the car. Very worst case is to drill the bolt out and re-tap the plate. Good luck.

One other method which I have used before particularly if the cross head has been damaged, is to clean up the face and weld a small bolt on to the face and then use a spanner to try and ease it out, once it moves a little the Plus Gas can get to work. Good luck
