Just felt i needed to share this----went to the tesco web site the other day looking at electric shavers, there were of course several but one caught my eye regarding the price. The info went thus--' £299.97p reduced from £299.99p save 2p' I kid you not!!
I wasn't wanting to spend that much but couldn't resist such a saving! :o

Can't find it there now, hope it was an error rather than a serious attempt to attract buyers!

What you should have done is bought it then with your receipt gone to customer services and told them of the error and you would get double the difference back. That would have bamboozled them :D

Marvellous. My local Spar shop had own brand Pizzas for £2 each, but they were on special offer for nearly a week at 2 for £5....
I was tempted to buy 2 but ask for them to be put through the till separately as I didn't want to partake inthe offer, but couldn't be bothered to make a fuss. They had big bags of crisps for 89p on offer for £1 recently too.. :o

They take advantage of inattention or laziness like many other businesses, insurance companies and banks spring to mind.
Forget loyalty, it counts for nothing now, you have to be on your toes all the time :(

The supermarkets only give you a loyalty points card so they can spy on you and your buying habits
