Hi guys and girls, I am in the process of buying a '62 2 door in almond green,
I have not seen the car yet but its coming from a good friend and we will be going to give it a good looking over next week.
The car is going to be a "family" project for me and my son with the intention of getting him away from the xbox and under a moggie with a spanner in his hand. He is 13
The car when its finished will be his first car (if he gets involved enough in bringing it back to life)
First impressions are looking good, he is very excited and has been looking over my shoulder as we wandered around this forum so fingers crossed and the car is bought we will be getting some "guy" time, he will learn a lot of new skills and the feeling of pride when a battered neglected shell of a car takes on new life and he will know at the end of it all that his hard work (with a bit of help from dad) has achieved this
I will try to get a photo diary going when we start.
I know my way around a car but have never owned a Morris so will be looking for a bit of guidance every now and then, I apologise in advance for any stupid questions
