Hi Chaps,

Don't know if this is the right area of the forum for this but can anyone confirm the correct engine number prefix for an Ital A + engine.

I'm not sure if the prefix for the engine should read 12V923EH4 or if it should be 12VEHZ.

Can any Ital engine owners confirm the correct prefix?

Why does it matter? 12 V is the important bit = 1275cc!!

The engine number is required for the insurance. The car has been modified (again) and my old company won't insure the car, and the new company require a modified vehicle report detailing the modification state of the vehicle.
