Hi Chaps,

Does anyone know of the history of my 1969/70 4 door minor?

I've owned the car since November 2008 and am the 8th owner. She was put back into roadworthy condition in about 2008, and the 1098 engine and gearbox were replaced in 2012 with a 1275 Ital A+ unit and a Ford 5 speed box.

From the paperwork I have with the car it seems as though the car was used quite regularly with 90 odd thousand miles on the clock and was maintained by East Sussex Minors.

Does anyone in the club know anything about the car and has she been owned by any club members?

Thanks

John

How about some other way of identifying it like the chassis number :)
A heritage certificate would tell you build data.

Hi John
From the number plate,it started off life around the Canterbury area, the Main BMC Dealers would have been Barretts or
Caffyns.
Many Owners in Kent go to ESM for Service and Spares, including myself
We have our East Kent Club night meeting tomorrow,I will ask if any one remembers your car.
best regards
Trevor
