Traveller rear door center seal

Hi all,
I've just glued on the rear door seals on my traveller.
The quadrant ones are pretty straight forward to fit.
And the flat strip that goes down the center where the doors meet, I've glued it in place.
I think I read on here somewhere that the ends should be wrapped around the top and bottom of the door and screwed into place.
Is this correct?, if so what size/type of screw should I use?
Cheers
Moray

my seal is wrapped over the top and down the inside about three inches and held down by two small nails. the bottom is not wrapped, just cut off even with bottom of the door. The car came to me this way. cheers

Maybe the Scottish Travellers do not have the seal as the weather causes the wood to swell so that the doors would not fit with a rubber seal

Nope, I drive a traveller without rear door sealing problems in London without a seal between the rear doors.
It lives in a garage and very rarely get wet.
