The missus got her eye on a house (oh oh)
So off we trecked, a new project because we are getting stale apparently  my own interpretation would be content, but......
in reality I need a move too.
So, whats important to the male aint whats important to the wife, i.e. garden, if youre a gardner needs to be the right size,is there a greenhouse available? or even local allotments, also what about the garage, long enough? wide enough? secure? room for a workbench?
While visiting the house the estate agent couldnt get in the garage, nobody lives there just now so he was short of keys, but it looked ok from the outside, he also wasnt sure what the little hobbit door was to the rear of the house below the house floor level (the gardens stepped)
Eventually we got to meet the ex owners son, who has all the keys,lo and behold the garage has a two thirds length pit 6ft deep :D
and the hobbit gate leads to a subterranean workshop with work benches, heating and storage for tools :D :D :D
Sorry whats that? the missus? ah yes, the downside, perfect she sez for a loft conversion, wood floors, fitted this fitted that blah blah blah.or something like that.
Now, wheres my suitcase?

Well at least you have her planning things already and she hasn't turned round before entering the door. Always a good start.

As for the Hobbit door maybe an old coal hole? Beer cellar?

Nice garden, yes; garage, yes, inspection pit - double yes. :)
