Morris Minor Owners Club

Hello I have a problem with my 948cc engine. it runs nice and smooth on tick over and doesn't miss fire. The problem is when I try and accelerate, it hesitates but does get there. I have been told that it could be the condenser. any ideas would be great cheers

Check the points gap and that the piston in the carb will lift up then drop with an audible clunk.
Some oil in the carb dash pot won't hurt either.
