As new and soon to be proud owners of our first Morris Minor, we are looking for a good quality inside garage car cover for our 1962 Convertible. We'd prefer a tailored cover that fits snugly and follows the contours of the car. I'm sure a number of you already have covers for your respective prides and joy and I would be most grateful to receive any advice.
Many thanks

No worries, always glad to help

looks a nice convertible, black wing piping being picked out on the rear wings always a good sign

Hi Martin,
just joined the messageboard and saw your post about car covers. We have always used Specialised Accessories. They do both indoor and outdoor covers and are tailor made to fit your Morris even down to the positioning of the pockets for wing mirrors etc. They are a bit pricey, but as they say you get what you pay for. We also have one of these covers for our caravan. Have a look at their website, just google specialised accessories.

I always purchase Stormforce breathable covers for my vehicles. The price for a Morris Minor saloon is £119.00.
These are multi use indoors or outdoors if required. They are multi layered, and have soft undersides. Built in zips to access the doors of the car. Straps to tie the cover under the vehicle.
They are breathable. I have had a vehicle sit outside during some terrific storms and afterwards the car is bone dry and clean.
I purchased an expensive indoor only cover years ago from the Classic Car Show, it was as much use as a chocolate teapot,it filtered the dirt through it..
There are plenty of Stormfoce covers to choose from on Ebay under...Stormforce Car Cover.
The supplier is up to you.

Admittedly not a snug fit but a decorators dust sheet is as good as any cover for a vehicle kept inside, at a fraction of the cost.
When thrown over it will follow the car's contours.

Hello Yorkshire lady.
Many thanks for taking the time to pass on your recommendation. We currently have another hobby car and that benefits from a bespoke cover so this might just be what we are looking for.
Thanks again.
