I have several photographs of 4 door saloon Minor reg No: BC3902 in Waterfall Gardens Penang in March 1955 and Oct 1958. The car was owned by my late wife's uncle Hugh Nield when he worked for the Police Force in Penang. I also have negatives of his new Minor traveller (details not known) being loaded (slung with nets round the wheels) and ready to be stowed through the hatch of East Asiatic Co Ltd (a Danish company) M.S. LALANBIA in Dover (U.K.) inner harbour prior to sailing to Penang in Jan 1961.

[/frame] The top photo was taken in March 1955, the middle one in October 1958 and the bottom one in October 1958 all in Waterfall Gardens Penang. Sorry about the size of the photographs but they are small to begin with , the biggest being 80mm x 60mm and I cannot seem to to enlarge them prior to posting. The reg of the Minor is BC 3902. The car in the background of the third photo appears to be a Morris Oxford when the photo is enlarged on my computer. I have several other photos of the same car in the same place on the same dates but because of the size have not included them.
The negatives of the traveller being slung on board ship will have to be converted to photographs before I can post them.
