Rocker cover to air filter rubber hose

My Minor 1000 1960 original engine has a split rocker cover to air filter hose.
Bryan in the parts dept has not got any to send me.
I searched ESM and Bull motif and found similar hoses described as rocker cover to carb hoses and the pictures seemed the same.
On ESM they also have a rocker cover to air filter hose but their picture shows a hose of a different shape.
Is it ok to order the rocker cover to carb hose to replace my split one which doesnt go to the carb.
Im confused and not a mechanic[frame]Image[/frame]

looks like you could cut yours at the spit and still be long enough to use

Save yourself a lot of money by either doing a) as above, or b) cutting an odd length of heater hose to suit.

For this job practically any rubber hose that will fit snugly on the spouts will do.

As above - it''s a hose! Almost anything will do. But just trim that one down as suggested.........

Not pretty-----(though there are some nice colours)------but even a short length of garden hose should fit.

Get a piece of clear vinyl hose and then you can watch the vaours going through.

Thanks for the replies.
I did as advised and cut the split section off and reattached the hose. :D
But is this the right hose?
I would like to have the correct part fitted.

Correct is a bit of plain black hose........why does it matter ? You already have non-standard parts there.....
