Has anyone Mounted a Sat-Nav in the Drivers side Glovebox hole ?
Im looking for a mount to hold a 7 inch Samsung Tablet in front of the driver-side glovebox hole, that doesn't involve me drilling or destroying the box itself, Possibly something that screws out to hold like a stairgate sort of arrangement.
The windscreen on the Moggie is far too small for even a small sat nav, so Im wondering what you guys have tried as an alternative
Any suggestions gratefully recieved

Of course it fits in the glove box, you dont need to worry about polarity either, you will need a bit of blu-tack though.[frame]

My satnav is my daughters cast off MK1 tom tom .Quite small enough to mount on the windscreen on its sucker and easily detachable and hidden away. works ok as well.

I've often used a holder with a suction cup and a long adjustable arm which I bend to put the sat nav to the left of the speedo.
The suction cup only obscures the view of a section of bonnet where very little happens

Mine, via a suction cup, mounts on the lid of the passenger side glovebox - does not obscure the windscreen, is easy to see, and works perfectly. Mine is the later style lid, don't know whether the cup would fit the earlier ones.

As Chesney says but what I did was slightly less straightforward, I used an old speedo fascia from an early minor (which fits straight on a late Minor) to house oil, water and a rev counter. The rev counter glass is the perfect size to mount a little Tom Tom sat nav sucktion cup. I figured that I would either be doing the type of driving that required paying attention to the satnav or the rev counter but not both at the same time.
But since the sat nav shows speed, I'm often lazy and stick the satnav onto the speedo glass instead.[frame]
