Is anyone doing anything with their car for Drive It Day on Sunday 21st April
I think there are quite a few events being held (Chasewater, Memorial Arboretum are more local for me)
Should be a nice excuse to get out and blow away the winter cobwebs.
Would be nice to hear about other members plans for that day

Lincolnshire Branch in conjunction with North Lincolnshire MMOC/Bridlington & Wolds MMOC will be driving and displaying their cars at the VSCC Wolds Trophy meeting at Cadwell Park near Louth. We are also hoping for a few parade laps of the circuit too if the programme and conditions allow. Entry is £10 per head in advance or £13 on the gate (£10 for seniors) and if you are in a Morris you can join our display area in the Paddock. PM me if you are thinking of joining us. Here's the link for further information.

East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club event at Goathland station.
Should be a good event! Fully booked a week or so ago so 60 classics are due plus whatever wants to just turn up and park in the village. Will try and get some pictures of MOT 495F from the event.

There was a chap at University who used an open Ford Model T with no wings or roof every day, in 21st Century traffic.

There are several events on in Northern Ireland, I will probably attend the one at Sprucefield near Lisburn that is ran by the Banbridge Old Vehicle Club.

Hope you all have a really great time wherever you go.
For those that drive it day is everyday, I wish sometimes that was the case for me but sadly not. Mine only ventures out for events and to help out when my other car is off the road! I used to drive her everyday for about 5 years (going back 25 years) but I have now enjoyed the warmth of a car with a heater so tend not to bring her out when its cold (must be getting older!)

12 cars from Lincolnshire Branch, North Lincolnshire branch and the Bridlington & Wolds Branch ventured to Cadwell Park for Drive It Day and enjoyed a superb day of Historic Sports Car Racing. A lovely sunny day was topped off by the opportunity to complete two parade laps of the circuit during the lunch break. Video from Mike Dean's Traveller of the parade laps can be found here
