Welcome to the forum! Are the tubes in place on the heater - and on the spreader bars under the screen?

Yes - check that the plastic corrugated heater pipes are in place from the heater to the screen spreaders. Chances are that they have slipped off over the years. You may well need to take out the glove boxes to get at them or possibly play the contortionist and lie upside down in the passenger footwell, with your head where your feet would be so you can reach behind the glove boxes to check. Good luck

Make sure the vents are actually pointing at the screen.

Have to say - even with the tubes etc in place - there is never exactly a 'blast' of hot air to the screen. But I had to drive 40 miles home last saturday through 4 to 6 " falling snow - and although the cab was pretty cold -the heater did manage to keep the screen reasonably clear of 'fog' - although the other windows were streaming wet........
