Morris Minor Owners Club

I have a small 3 corner tear in the headlining between the rear window and rear near side window. It is approximately an inch long. Any advice / suggestions please.

With a tear in my own headlining I just stitched it together with needle & thread. It doesn't look particularly pretty but it did the job and there is no longer a flap of vinyl hanging down. I have a new headlining that I've been meaning to fit for years but as stated it is a tricky job to do so I've been putting it off. Might get round to doing it some day

Funnily enough, someone has already suggested that so weather permitting there will be a headlining change carried out at Cornbury. The plan is to photograph it step by step then post the photos up here as a 'how to' guide to help others

I'll be posting up some more details about the website stand shortly but the idea is that other 'smallish' jobs will also be carried out over the weekend so if anyone has something that needs doing to their Minor and would like to be parked up on the website stand so that others can see how it is done please let me know. You'll need to supply any parts yourself but plenty of tea & cake wil be available and I'm sure people will be happy to lend a hand to help or chip in with advice (hopefully no tutting and "you shouldn't have done it like that" type comments!)
